My daughter had a handful of stubborn warts that we had been trying to get rid of for YEARS. We tried everything at home — over-the-counter freezing products, creams, duct tape, scraping, acids — you name it, we tried it! We finally decided to see our regular doctor, where they attempted to freeze them off. When that didn’t work, we went back multiple times and eventually tried a combination of freezing and acid treatments. After FOUR very painful appointments and more than $800 out of pocket, the warts were STILL there. At that point, we were frustrated and gave up for several months. When summer came around, we decided to give Studio Derm and Dr. Farhaad Riyaz a try — and I am SO glad we did! Dr. Riyaz listened carefully to everything we had already been through, explained the different treatment options available, and helped us decide how to move forward. He was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate with my daughter. And the best part? After ONE pleasant appointment, the warts were GONE! 🙌 We actually went back expecting that she would need another treatment, but Dr. Riyaz looked at them, told us they were healing beautifully, and sent us on our way — no unnecessary treatment or appointment. After everything we had been through, I honestly couldn't believe how easy the experience was. Dr. Riyaz is truly a caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and HONEST doctor. It is so refreshing to find someone who genuinely seems to care about his patients and isn't going to recommend treatment that isn't needed. My son had some a couple spots of molluscum contagiosum on his back that weren't going away. Of course he wanted them treated sooner rather than later, so I was looking for an office that could get him seen quickly (unlike my dermatology office). After completing the intake form online, I was called within the hour, and they offered me same day appointments though we ended up taking one later in the week. I had to tale all 3 boys (ages 11 and under) to the office, which is extremely clean and chic. Immediately we were greeted, checked in and taken back to the room. The PA took the information, gave us the options, knowledgeably answered my questions and allowed US to choose which route we wanted to go. There was no pressure one way or another. The doctor then came in and saw us. He was personable, genuinely warm and kind, and treated my children with the same respect he showed to me. I believe I have high standards when it comes to patient care, and this office blew it out of the park! I was so pleased and hope others check it out because they were phenomenal.
